Drums-Vintage and Visual

Die Drumming features three jaw-dropping vintage drum sets that recreate the sounds of the concerts of the classic rock era.

The 60’s

A four piece Ludwig Classic Maple set in gold sparkle is reminiscent of the simple yet powerful kits that launched a movement and drove rock and roll to the center stage of a culture. From “Wipeout” to “I Wanna Hold Your Hand” this set pioneered it all.

The 70’s

A twelve piece Ludwig Clear Amber Vistalite set powers the songs from the seventies. This double kick set features eight concert toms and an array of percussion equipment for a dramatic 360 degree playing cage. The set reminds the audience of the beautiful Vistalite sets played by Jon Bonham of Led Zepplin and Keith Moon of The Who.

The 80’s

In the 1980’s TAMA approached legendary Rush drummer Neil Pert to help them design a deep and musical drum set. The result was the Birdseye Maple TAMA Artstar II set. Considered by many to be “one of the most musical drum sets ever produced,” this kit lives up to its name “Art-Star!”
